At Vieira Luxe, we love our brides! Today we have the sweetest love story to share with you all the way from Minnesota. Our real bride Cassie and her husband Jacob tied the knot back in October in a gorgeous backyard ceremony. We sat down with Cassie to ask her a few questions about her big day – we wanted all the details! Here’s how it went.
Q: How did you meet?
Cassie: Jake and I met when I started working at the Blue Moose Bar & Grill in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. I started right after I graduated college in 2016. We instantly had a connection but neither of us wanted to admit it. I signed up to work Christmas night in the “Back 40” lounge because I knew he was the closing bartender. We both had a drink after work that night with the owner. After another few weeks of playing “hard to get”, we finally set up a time to get together outside of work. We spent nearly every day together after that.
Q: Tell us about your engagement!
Cassie: We moved back to Minnesota in 2018 - where we bought a house. This was about a year after we had previously moved to Arizona and found our dog there (pictured in wedding photos). The following February (13th not the 14th), he proposed to me in the skyway of one of our favorite restaurants – Sky’s Cloud 9. We spent nearly a year and half without a wedding date in mind.
Q: How was the big day?
Cassie: In September of 2020, we decided that October would be a perfect time to get married in front of our family and only a few close friends. We exchanged our own wedding vows at his sister’s house near Crookston, MN and made it official when we had our dinner at Sky’s Cloud 9. It was the perfect, small wedding we had no idea we even wanted.

Q: How was your experience with Vieira Luxe?
Cassie: My experience with Vieira Luxe was wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Since I really only about a month to find a wedding gown, I had been looking at other store’s that would have a typical white dress with multiple sizes and good return policy. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money and didn’t have too much time for alterations. I happened to stumble across Vieira Luxe online. I was a little hesitant to order since I was about three weeks out. I messaged the store and the owner replied right away. She even gave me her phone number to text if I had any questions. I asked for a few measurements to make sure the dress was long enough and the size seemed to be nearly perfect. She had a wonderful return policy and quick shipping. Since I was able to speak with an actual person, I decided to go ahead and order. The dress arrived within a week and it was even more beautiful in person. I tried it on and it was perfect! They also sent a nice hanger a garment bag, a sweet note and a cute sash! The packaging was nice and I could tell that a real person packaged it up for me.
