Bridal Size Guide
Every bride wants to feel like her wedding dress flatters her and fits her perfectly. What’s the key to finding your ideal wedding dress size? It all comes down to knowing the measurements to your body. Whether you want a form-fitting dress or a princess style ball gown, knowing your measurements will help you find a fit that flatters your body no matter what style you’re looking for!
It’s super important to take your measurements accurately to determine the best size for your dress. Here are a few tips on how to get the best measurements:
● Do not measure yourself. Have someone measure for you.
● Measure over your undergarments, preferably the undergarments you will be wearing with your dress.
● Use a cloth measuring tape. Keep the tape level and pull it snug, but not tight.
Bust: Measure around your back and across the fullest part of the chest over your bra.
Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waist, about 1-2 inches above your belly button.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips
Once you measure, you’re good to go! When you know your measurements, you can easily shop online or in person for your perfect gown. Here are five designer size charts to help you figure out your ideal size.
